The Foundation | The TT-Intercup was founded in 1990 by an initiative of a
group of international table tennis officials by special support
of the CASINOs AUSTRIA.

| The Patronage | The Austrian Table Tennis Association is functioning as patron
of the Cup. Since 1993 the event is officially recognised by the
European Table Tennis Union (ETTU).

| The Objectives | It is intend to offer an international competition to clubs which
must no participate in the European Club Cup of Champions
or in the ETTU-Nancy-Evans-Cup due to their national ranking.
Which means that clubs of all playing levels do have the
chance to take part in the TT-Intercup without any qualifying
matches. Even second teams of a club participating with its
first team in another European club event are eligible
under certain restrictions.

| The Costs | Since cost should be as low as possible only teams of Central
Europe (in the broader sense) may enter.
The match system permits travelling by one car as basic teams
consist of 3 players and 1 official.
Travel costs are to be covered by the away team, free
hospitality has to be provided by the home team.
The entry fee of 70 EURO is reasonably low.

| The Match Dates | Teams can fix match dates within a certain time period by
mutual agreement.

| The System of Play | is on knock-out-basis till the final round which will be played with four teams.
The losers of Round 1 matches are eligible to play at the consolation event
"Citta di Verona" till the final round which will be also played with four teams.

| The Closing Date for Entry | Clubs have to enter their teams by the middle of August. |
